Rettie are one of the UK’s leading independent property specialists. The firm covers residential and new home sales, letting and property management, land and development sales and consultancy in both rural and urban areas.
The Challenge
Rettie approached the Weather Digital to build a sophisticated map search for their visitors.
The new map search would allow people to draw any shape on a map and find all the properties available within that area.
Our Response
After research into Google maps, crazy mathematical equations and programming, the final product was complete.
An area or shape is drawn, properties in this area are plotted on the map. Properties then can be filtered by existing search options such as price and number of bedrooms.
Signed up users can convert their saved area to an email alert, meaning users will receive an email for every new property that meets their criteria.
