Launched in 1993, Classic Retreats has grown to become a market leader in international branding of many of Africa’s leading hotels and lodges.

The Challenge

Classic Retreats got in touch with us to design and develop a new consumer-facing website, which will help promote their member properties.

Our Response

With the quality of the properties and incredible photography It was decided early in the process that we needed to focus on the member properties. The properties are stunning - so each member has their own micro-site within the overall website.

As a marketing company, social networking is becoming an increasingly important way of marketing to customers. With that in mind, we created functionality for Classic Retreat’s staff to automatically post their new blog articles to Twitter, notifying their followers of a new blog article instantly.

We also integrated social media sharing to the key pages of the website; this allows their visitors to share content with their friends.

The website also incorporated Google maps that Classic Retreats can update themself to highlight member property locations and also other attractions in the area.

The whole website has a fully integrated Content Management System that Classic Retreats use to update the website.
